  • This is one in a small series I made about the Greek story of Icarus and Daedalus. It depicts the flight suit of Daedalus after he lost his son whilst escaping from captivity in Greece. He's the only survivor. His only child died on the way, in a suit also made by him. This makes the whole endeavor his responsablilty and also reaally pointless. He now lives the rest of his life in exile on Sicily. His fantastic flying suit slowly decaying as a reminder of the monumental loss in his life.
  • Detail of this mythical flying suit of armor from ancient Greece. Obviously inpired by 19th century scuba suits. The soldering on this one was extensive to say the least. A lot of blasphemy and small burn woonds where needed to finish it...
  • This little guy is getting ready for PAN Amsteram with Rademakers Gallerie this november. His little wings folded, the tiny suit hangs now defunct on a crane. Bits are missing and the defective neon sign spells
